Prof. Dr. Fathi Saleh
Professor Saleh is the founder and Emeritus Director of the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage “CULTNAT”, in Egypt. He is a member of the Supreme Council of Culture, and also the president of the Association for the documentation, preservation and valorization of Euro-Mediterranean Cultural Heritage “HERIMED”.
Professor Saleh has a passion for the study of history and evolution of humankind in relation to spirituality and well being. He also has passion for studying the direct effects of place, time, and cultural heritage on the mental, emotional and psychological state of different people, at different places. The profound study of Astronomy also took a large part of Professor Saleh’s ardor, knowing that a holistic view at the life of mankind can never be complete without taking all cosmic relations into consideration.
Dr. Saleh is currently a professor of Computer Engineering at Cairo University. During the years 1995-1997 he occupied the position of Cultural Councilor at the Embassy of Egypt in Paris. From 1997 to 1999, he was the Egyptian Ambassador to the UNESCO. Professor Saleh was awarded the first-ranking prize for Information Technology in Doha, 2010.
